Shea’s Riverside Restaurant & Bar in Essex is Hiring!

Shea’s is gearing up for the busy season and are looking to hire both entry level cooks to work in our salad, dessert and fry stations, as well as more experienced line cooks. Pay ranges between $14 - $20 per hour depending on the position and the applicant's experience.

They are open to both full-time and part-time applicants but would need night and weekend availability as they are only open for dinner Monday - Thursday and serve lunch or brunch Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

We have a really talented head chef running the kitchen who is really focused on beautiful presentation and teaching his staff how to build their skill set and excel.

Part time seasonal à la carte prep cook/ grill cook/ snack bar cooks needed for a private club on the North Shore of Massachusetts.

Start as soon as possible -October 14th.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for cooking snack bar menu for staff and club members
• Tasks include: Prepping of food before service, cooking staff lunch, snack bar service and cleanup of station before/after service
• Assistance with receiving purveyor orders and organization of kitchen
• General daily prep assistance for the executive chef and sous chef

Other Job Information

• Snack bar service begins promptly at 11:30am and ends at 2:30pm Wednesday-Monday,
extended snack bar hours are 11:30am-6:00pm Wednesday-Saturday from the end of June to the beginning of September
• You are required to work in conjunction with the snack bar attendant throughout the duration of your shift
• You are responsible for all orders given to you and the timely pick up of them
• You are also responsible to provide support for the sous chef during lunch service, which may
include prepping and/or cooking of various lunch items
• In addition to snack bar service, Sunday Grille evening service will require your assistance with
prep, meal service and clean up throughout the season
