AN EVENING OF FOOD, FRIENDS, AND FUN ON THE FARM

On Thursday, May 16, we will gather at New Entry Farm to celebrate Feeding Opportunity and Community! This event will provide an opportunity for friends and champions to celebrate our mission, our youth culinary job training, and employment programs.

Enjoy hors d’oeuvres and small plates highlighting locally sourced ingredients prepared by Root alumni, and a selection of local and farm-fresh cocktails while you take in a farm tour or cooking demonstration by Root alumni, and listen to festive music from Zumix youth band Porque Puma. This year, we are thrilled to present the 2024 Root Community Leadership Award to Beth Francis, CEO of the Essex County Community Foundation.

Raise your paddle in the live and online auctions to benefit Root’s Culinary Training, Alumni Employment, and Community Catering Programs.
