Cabbage Slaw with Easy Summer Dressing

We learned about working with egg whites this week during baking day, and the angel food cake cupcakes came out pretty darn good. You can make these as a cake, or yield a dozen cupcakes. These are tried and true recipes from the Root kitchen - give them a try and let us know what you think!

Cabbage Slaw with Dressing

Ingredients:

Recipe Yield: 1 quart slaw dressing

  • 3 cup Mayonnaise

  • 1/4 cup Brown Sugar

  • 1/4 cup Whole Grain Mustard

  • 2 1/2 T Cider vinegar

  • 1 Tablespoon Kosher Salt

  • 2 teaspoon Black pepper

  • 2 teaspoon Celery Seed

  • 1 teaspoon Garlic, chopped

Instructions:

  1. Chop or grate cabbage and other vegetables to desired size.

  2. Combine all ingredients in a large mixing bowl.

  3. Whisk together until mixture is fully emulsified.

  4. Serve cold.
