Praise for Catering by Root

We love working with Root. They have catered a number of events for NAGLY in recent years and we always know that the food is going to be excellent, that our specific needs are going to be met, and that our guests/participants will have a great meal. We especially love knowing that hiring Root for our catering needs helps to provide education and training for local young people. It's a win-win all around.

  • James Giessler, Executive Director/CEO at North Shore Alliance of GLBTQ+ Youth (NAGLY)

Project Adventure is thrilled to partner with Root to provide lunches for our workshop participants and corporate clients.  We share similar missions to empower youth in our community so Root has become the perfect caterer for our programs.  Chef Sam and the rest of the staff are so easy to work with, the food is always delivered on time, and we’ve received so many compliments from our participants that the food is incredible!

  • Keri Hinchion, Workshop Registrar, Project Adventure, Inc.

Over our three years of collaboration, Green Beverly has been so pleased with Root's efforts to accommodate our needs, whether ensuring compostable containers and cutlery, modifying ingredients for special diets, or adjusting the number of meals right up to the very last minute. We appreciate that Root supports our local economy by sourcing the freshest foods from local farms and businesses, and we feel great that our events provide a learning experience for the next generation of food related service workers and entrepreneurs. Thank you for all you've done for and with us.
