Join us for our annual
rooted in community event!
AN EVENING OF FOOD, FRIENDS, AND FUN……. AT THE CABOT!
Mark your calendar to join us on Thursday, October 16th, for Rooted in Community, Root's Annual Celebration! We are excited to return to the Cabot Theater to celebrate Feeding Opportunity and Community!
Enjoy hors d’oeuvres and small plates highlighting locally sourced ingredients prepared by Root alumni and a selection of festive beverages. Featuring cooking demonstrations by Root alumni, fresh music from Three Second Chances, magic with Anton the Magician, remarks from some of our graduates, and a live and online auction to benefit Root’s Culinary Training, Alumni Employment, and Community Catering Programs.
Each year, we recognize a key partner or ally in our mission with the Root Community Leadership Award. This year, we are proud to have Lt. Governor Kim Driscoll join us to present the award to Robyn Burns of The Salem Pantry.
