AN ELEGANT EVENING AT CASTLE HILL

A sold-out crowd of 128 gathered to enjoy sunset cocktails in the Italian Garden and a spectacular dinner on the lawn outside the Great House, overlooking the Grand Allée.

Thank you to Aaron and Shanna Chambers, and the Settler team, for their continued partnership and support for Root.

We are incredibly proud of the amazing crew of Root graduates who supported the event in the kitchen and front-of-house: David, Cam, Atticus (and Charles, as part of Settler’s team!), and the many others who helped in the kitchen with production this week. We are proud to feature the work of our alumnae Quinn and Zylee of Delaney Garden Design, who did the beautiful flowers.

The seasonal menu was sourced from many local farm partners, including Appleton Farms, Iron Ox Farm, and the New Entry Sustainable Farming Project’s network of incubator farmers.

Thank you to our generous Garden and Grand Allée dinner table sponsors and our fantastic host committee. Proceeds from this evening will support Root's Culinary Training, Alumni Employment, and Community Catering programs. We are grateful for your support of our mission and work.
