Thomas - Artisan Baker at A&J King

Thomas graduated from Root in late 2019 and joined Root's kitchen team as a part-time baker for the Root Café while he worked toward a certificate in baking at North Shore Community College. After nearly 18 months as an anchor member of Root's Community Kitchen team, producing delicious focaccia and other sides for community meals, Thomas followed his passion for baking to start a new job at A&J King Artisan Bakers.

He loves being a part of the team at A&J King's busy Central Street
location and getting to bake a lot of different breads (his personal
favorite is the Brioche!)

Thomas credits his time with Root's Community Kitchen team for helping him have a greater knowledge and understanding of baking and making his transition to the busy bakery much easier.
