Since 2017, with your partnership, 234 young adults have graduated from Root’s Culinary Training Program, and over 150,000 meals have been prepared for the community!

I’m glad we’re providing a service for people who actually need it. Food scarcity is a thing, and I feel like sometimes it’s not recognized enough. Everyone’s reality is different, so it’s nice to cater to the people who really need it. And the meals are nourishing and healthy.

My externship at Bernadette was really fun. I got to experience a lot of new things I’d never really experienced before, and I learned a lot from them that helped me improve my skills… like you always need a nice, sharp knife – and good garlic!
