Root receives the Community Partner Award at the North Shore CDC's "Innovate, Invest, Ignite" - November 14, 2024

The Root team was proud to be honored with the Community Partner Award by the North Shore CDC at their annual celebration, "Innovate, Invest, Ignite" (and to cater the event alongside Edex Provisions!)

Since opening our doors in 2017, Root has collaborated with YouthBuild North Shore and the NSCDC team to support young people facing barriers to success. In 2023, we formalized this partnership, allowing young adults enrolled in YouthBuild to co-enroll at Root for Culinary Workforce Training for their vocational training and allowing Root trainees and alumni to enroll in Youth Build’s HiSet prep classes. We are proud to partner with their incredible team!
