Chanelle - Cook, Eurest Services, GE Riverworks

Chanelle graduated from Root in 2021. As a trainee, she did her externship at Lulu’s Pantry in Salem and was offered a job there upon graduation. After working at Lulu’s for a few months, Chanelle worked with Root’s Alumni Services to transition to a new position, and she is currently a cook with Eurest Services on-site at the GE Riverworks in Lynn.

“Root’s program and everyone on the team are so positive and supportive, during the program and after graduation. They (alumni support services) helped me with transitioning jobs and housing questions.”

Chanelle also joins Root’s Kitchen Team to support on and offsite events throughout the year, and we are always excited to have her join us! If you were at the May 2023 “Rooted in Community” event, we hope you had a chance to visit with her and David and enjoy some of the delicious bites they were sharing!
